Amazing surreal portraits by Dilka Bear

Well, I've already started missing surreal works in my blog, especially when Star Wars seem to be overtaking the leading position :)
And here comes this amazing collection of portraits by Dilka Bear that I find on Behance today... Such atmospheric and moody works... A touch of surreal... A touch of style... And definitely a professional touch of a real artist... Each depicted character is quite unique, with own mood, emotions, feelings.... Really great works... I wouldn't mind any of these to be hanging on my wall...

Some more portraits from the series here

Somewhat surreal yet really nice and positive paintings by Robert Romanowicz

Surreal style has always been in favour on the pages of my blog, so I'm always happy to share something new with you... I think the beauty and attractiveness of surreal is that it gets us into the world which we can hardly experience on our own...something which we sometimes see in our dreams... something that we bring with us from our childhood and want to experience again and again.... Robert Romanowicz seems to know how to get us back into this emotional world of strange creatures and unusual environments...

Definitely go and see more of those on behance

I'm a forest. Somewhat surreal but so damn cool animation by Alex Schulz

Seems videos are integral part of todays inspirations... Well, why not :) Especially when they are so nice and unusual like this one. "I'm a forest" is a short animation (made in stop motion technique) of a paper forest made by a photographer Alex Schulz...
Watch the video, and then definitely go and see the making of on behance profile of Alex... Won't regret... I promise...

Metaphorical Realism in paintings by Vladimir Kush

A Russian artsit Vladimir Kush who is currently residing in Hawaii, creates his works in a style he calls Metaphorical Realism. Though to my mind, that classic Surrealism, but the style name doesnt influence the works at all. They are really enchanting and require more than a glimpse to catch the entire idea. Spend time, explore each picture... Enjoy them to the maximum.
