Designs and inspirations of last month

Well, that was a month since my last post here... Can't remember being away from blogging for so long recently...
But, there were great reasons for that... And unlike previous times it's not just work that kept me busy (though I like when I have what to do) but also some rest... So, here's a quick review of some of the things that kept me away from blogging but at the same time kept me excited, inspired and full of energy for new posts... So, here we go!

First complex work done for a local business... A large network of jewelry stores. Design of a billboard and a flyer for their promo campaign.. Intense week of work and a great result everyone is happy with...

Another project is done for my good friends from lamosca... A city guide application interface for a mobile phone

One more project for iPhone is currently in progress... A really interesting mobile game with quest elements...so here's a small sneak peak of what it will be like...

In between of all this work, I took a small break for a fest time in one of my fave cities - Lviv...

And of course I haven't forgotten about the logo design, though there was less of it last month thanks to those exciting projects I mentioned above... 

and a redesign of the existing Ranger logo

And one more break with lots of drive, adrenalin, positive emotions and pics... A 4 day rafting trip to the Carpathian mountains with unexpected snow in spring :)

Awesome and stylish commercials for language schools

As an ex teacher of English as foreign language and as a designer at the moment, I couldn't but enjoy these great videos made by Gustav Johansson for language schools promo... Great idea, great typography used in the videos (mmm... really delicious...) and of course great cut and editing... Do have a look at all of them... They are worth it...

Logo Nest 01 Book unpacked

The day is really great... Not just because two new logo design projects start today but also, and maybe mainly, because Logo Nest 01 Book was delivered today...
Guys from Logo Nest did a really great job with their Logo Nest 01 Book and twice more excting to get hold of it knowing and finding my design is featrured there...
2011 is ahead...Hopefully there will be more than one logo of mine in Logo Nest 02...

These are simply things to look at and admire... Style and chic in its absolute form... Lux packaging design by NCF Studio Paris  made with such perfection that it's no longer a brand that dominates, but that's the design which helps the brand get extra value... trully awesome....

Great portfilio book design from ilovedust

To creat great works is one thing... To present them properly is quite the other...
Ilovedust made an awesome Black Book to present the last year works... Simple, yet fancy enough and a cool case adds even more to the style and chic of this folio.

Salami CD packaging. Creative and unexpected design by Mother Eleganza

Last time I was same impressed when I saw the Blood energy potion.That was unexpected, unusual, and totally different... Same emotions with this creative CD pacacking designed by Mother Eleganza for LOWVIBE label.
That's one of the things that you see once and then tell at least a dozen people about... Well, I told to much more just now :) You don't even need to have it signed... you can hardly forget whose tracks are there... Though I'm afraid that packaging may be way cooler than the music... Nothing personal :)
