Great portfilio book design from ilovedust

To creat great works is one thing... To present them properly is quite the other...
Ilovedust made an awesome Black Book to present the last year works... Simple, yet fancy enough and a cool case adds even more to the style and chic of this folio.

Thanks Dieline for the inspiration

Nice graphic design porfolio by Cheyanne Proud

One more nice porfolio from an Australian graphic designer Cheyanne Proud to accompany a really cool folio by Allan Peters. Love the book design... It's really cool... Love the idea itself and how it's implemented...Though packaging design ain't any worse...

Thanks lookslikegooddesign for inspiration

Amazing children book illustrations by Carll Cneut

Here's a discovery from one of my favorite blogs by Monsieur Bandit. Children books illustrations made by an ex-art director and now an illustrator and even a writer Carll Cneut. Mix of techniques helps his illustrationn stand out, while his own style makes his illustrations really great for children books... Yet I wouldn't mind having some of these prints hanging on the walls of my appartment too...

A collection of minimalistic Stephen King posters by Nick Tassone

Following a nicely designed in black and white pasta book, here's another set of great minimalistic black and white designs -  a collection of posters for Stephen King's books and movies made by Nick Tassone. Great use of minimum graphics remided me another nice set of posters designed for Star Wars universe.

You may even buy yourself any of these posters...

The Geometry of Pasta. Amazing book and amazing design

Though we are used to seeing cooking or cooking related books full of photos, and full color illustrations, but still there are exceptions. And of the recent one is The Geometry of Pasta. Great black and white design, basic yet aesthetic shapes, and of course geometry of patterns and shapes of pasta. Can't say it makes me feel like making some pasta, but it definitely makes me get back to Illustrator to design something :)
