Coffee cup art. Faces by Jess Giambroni

The ideas and style of Cheeming Boey, who has already been here not so long, seem to spread, and here is another representative of coffee cup art - Jess Giambroni from DDW
Though I like Jess's idea and style I do think that Cheeming's art is more refined and commercially viable... Yet, have a look at what Jess did...

Thanks Dieline for another great inspiration

Inspired by Internet. Day 11

Day 11 of daily inspirations... and seems Internet is never tired to provide new and exciting things on a regular basis :)
So, why not to take them, to filter and to share with you. Enjoy!

SLIDE AN ANIMAL. GET A BOX.
An amazing collection of wooden animals from Areaware. Wooden toys have always been a part of exciting childhood... until plastic came.... Yeah, plastic soldiers were way more cooler than basic shapes of the wooden ones I used to have. But the feel on the wood... the smell... the touch.... Do buy wooden toys! They are cool!
Especially, when they are more than just toys... they are boxes!

See more toy-boxes or visit Areaware for even more great things. Highly recommend!

GO EAST!

One more creative discovery of the week. Polish born designer who lives and works in Germany Roman Klonek.

A guy who took woodcut print (as for me a hell of a difficult thing as opposed to simply printing an Illustrator designed image) to produce pictures which are mix of propaganda, cartoons and folk art. A mind-blowing mix! Just have a look.

Ain't those really cool, huh? See more of Klonek's works, as well as glimpses of the woodcut printing process or visit his personal site for more info.

GET SOME PET FACES FOR CUPBOARD.

Cute, weird, funky...different words can be applied to Takkoda's pet faces... In any case they won't leave you indifferent...

Cheer up with even more famous faces and professions expressed by the pet faces... Check if you guessed all of them right by the way. And if you are inspired enough, grab some for yourself

BEARS ATTACK!

After visiting Areaware site, I just couldn't resist and post some of the great bears of theirs... Really awesome toys!

See even more of these great bears here.

This day turned to be full of somewhat silly inspirations, but isn't it a perfect set for Friday? Especially Friday 13th ;)

See you tomorrow! Have fun!
